Hamburg Ballet’s Gift of Special lesson!

The Hamburg Ballet is coming to Japan in February, 2018. The performance will be at Tokyo and Kyoto respectively. The artistic director and world-class choreographer: John Neumeier received the Kyoto Prize in 2015. The Inamori Foundation co-sponsors the Gala “A World of John Neumeier” held at ROHM Theatre Kyoto in February 17, 2018.

On Feb. 14, in 3 days prior to the Gala, Special program of “Hamburg Ballet Workshop” is presented as a premium gift from the Hamburg Ballet. A two hours lesson is given by the Principal Lloyd Riggins (photo). Riggins won “Prix Benois de la Danse” called Academy Award in Ballet world in 2004. The application is limited for young dancers at the age of 12-18, who aim at the professional dancer. The application is available from today.
