On November 10, the Prize Presentation Ceremony was held with solemnity and grandeur at Kyoto International Conference Center, attended by 1,200 distinguished guests. Tea served by Urasenke entertained the attendants at lobby before opening the ceremony. The ceremony opened with the Overture to the Ceremony performed by Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, and a celebratory Noh performance Arashiyama by Kuroemon Katayama X, the Kanze School added grace. Following felicitations from Princess Takamado, 20K gold Kyoto Prize medal, a diploma, and prize money of 100 million yen were presented to each laureate. At finale, the Kyoto Seibo Gakuin Elementary School Chorus cheered laureates in heart-warming atmosphere. The solemn and spectacular ceremony decorated in Kyoto-like culture was closed.
